Global HIV Treatments and Education in Minority Communities

Registration is open for our next Health Sciences Webinar - Global HIV Treatments and Education in Minority Communities, Thursday, May 24 at 2pm eastern time. Presented by Dr. Donna Barton and Robyn Sadoon.

This webinar discusses a global public health evaluation program of the human immunodeficiency virus regarding its spread within minority and young adult communities. It focuses on treatment options and reducing the AIDS stigma through education for those living with the disease.

This presentation will provide an overview of HIV prevention programs and their impact within the minority communities. Included will be an overview of the current state of HIV/AIDS globally, the impact of social media and prevention efforts, and what community-driven prevention measures are working to reduce the stigma of this disease.

This complimentary webinar is applicable to public health students, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) community coordinators, public healthcare providers, general health service providers, public health planners, policy researchers, HIV/infectious disease research professionals and program developers.
