Congratulations to this year’s Balanced Man Scholarship recipients!

This year, we awarded a total of $1,500 in scholarships to outstanding men on EIU’s campus who were selected from our pool of applicants.

The Balanced Man Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate a commitment to academic success, leadership, and personal growth. We appreciate everyone who applied and took the time to be part of this year’s scholarship process.

Congratulations again to our recipients, and we look forward to seeing what you accomplish at EIU!

Congratulations to our brother Mason Tegeler on being selected as Illinois Nu’s first-ever Tragos Quest to Greece Scholar! 🇬🇷

This once-in-a-lifetime experience gave Mason the opportunity to study ancient history and philosophy while connecting with SigEps from chapters across the country. We are proud to see him represent Illinois Nu with excellence and bring back lessons that will continue to strengthen our chapter for years to come.

Congratulations, Mason! We can’t wait to see the impact this experience has on our brotherhood.

This past weekend, several of our brothers volunteered at Aikman Wildlife Adventure to help clean up after the severe storms that rolled through on June 17. From clearing fallen trees to removing debris, they spent the day giving back to such a great place.

Service is a core part of what it means to be a SigEp, and we’re proud of the brothers who stepped up to make a difference. ❤️‍🔥

We are proud to celebrate our brothers’ academic diligence, putting in the work every day and proving what it means to be a Balanced Man. This spring, Illinois Nu earned a 3.20 chapter GPA, and seven brothers were recognized on the Dean’s List for their outstanding academic achievement. We are proud of the commitment our members continue to show in the classroom and beyond. 📚🏆

🎓 The Balanced Man Scholarship is now open!

Sigma Phi Epsilon is proud to offer the Balanced Man Scholarship, recognizing incoming male students who demonstrate leadership, academic achievement, involvement, and a commitment to personal growth. This fall, we will be awarding up to $1,500 in scholarship funds.

✅ Open to incoming male freshmen
✅ Admitted to Eastern Illinois University
✅ Minimum 2.6 High School GPA
✅ No obligation to join Sigma Phi Epsilon to apply or receive the scholarship

📅 Application Deadline: June 1st

This past Saturday, we had an amazing time at our second annual Spiking for St. Jude’s volleyball tournament 🏐

We’re proud to have coached , , and throughout the event.

Huge congratulations to Kappa Delta for taking 1st place, Tri Sigma for finishing 2nd, and Delta Zeta for coming in 3rd!

Thank you to for hosting this event with us and to everyone who participated and supported such a great cause. We appreciate all the effort and energy that made the day a success and we are looking forward to next year!
