Reminder: when it comes to college applications, hitting the submit button does not mean your work is done. Check application portals frequently, apply for scholarships, follow up on any pending items, and reach out to your admissions counselor, if any questions or problems arise. Fall is also a great time to visit colleges. FAFSA is projected to be available Dec. 1. Hang in there!

Founded in 1770 in one of the most beautiful cities in the country, the College of Charleston did not disappoint! Stephanie got a tour from a former client and was proud to witness firsthand the experiences students find at their best fit schools. The beautiful historic buildings are interspersed with architecturally cohesive modernized ones, and students have the opportunity to live in modernized residence halls or historic homes with plenty of gorgeous outdoor spaces throughout campus to study and hang while soaking up the sunshine.

Class of 2025: Janna has a limited number of spots remaining for current juniors. Stephanie is COMPLETELY FULL for class of 2025 and is not taking any more juniors. Stephanie has some remaining spots for current sophomores (Class of 2026), but those are quickly filling up.

Attention SENIOR CLASS of 2023! For most 4-year colleges, first-year applicants must decide where to enroll by May 1. Here is an important checklist:
*Visit campuses and make your final decisions
*Notify all colleges that offered you admission whether or not you'll be attending. If you do not plan to attend, letting colleges know frees up a space on their waitlist for someone else who wants it!
*Schedule reminders for important dates and deadlines at your chosen college, such as requesting final transcripts from your high school, applying for housing, paying any required deposits, registering for classes, etc.
*Finish senior year strong and make good choices!
*Thank your parents and those who supported you, including notes to those who wrote you letters of recommendation or provided extra assistance along the way.

While the West Coast and the rest of the country are experiencing winter storms, students at the University of Miami are enjoying warm temperatures and sunny weather. The 239-acre campus is located in Coral Gables, approximately 20 minutes from the beaches of Miami. Although the year-round sunshine and all that the city of Miami has to offer is a big attraction, students at UM attend for more than just the location. The university offers strong academics, including well-regarded programs in marine science, architecture, music engineering, Latin American studies, exercise physiology, law, biochemistry, molecular biology, nursing, and business, just to name a few. Hurricanes football contributes to the school spirit, as does the diverse and energetic student body. UM offers numerous merit and athletic scholarships and meets the full demonstrated financial need of students who enroll under the early decision program.
