We can help you get out of the dog house with a belated Valentine's present West Virginia Symphony Orchestra that features the WVU School of Theatre and Dance this Saturday, February 21st, At the Charleston Clay Center, with doors open reception at 6:30 and 7:30 start time!
WVU ALUMNI DEAL - $60/person: Includes a premium Area ticket to the Shakespeare on Stage concert, as well as admission to our pre-concert reception. This is the perfect chance to support the WVU School of Theatre and Dance students as well as WV Symphony musicians (and fellow alums!) who also work as professors and supporters of the University.
Concert Details: Experience the drama and romance of Shakespeare brought to life in Shakespeare on Stage with the WV Symphony, led by Music Director Maurice Cohn. From Prokofiev’s sweeping Romeo and Juliet selections to Shostakovich’s exhilarating Festive Overture, this program blends powerful orchestral music with live theatrical performance. Featuring onstage actors from the WVU School of Theatre and Dance and a special side-by-side appearance by the WV Youth Symphony, this unforgettable concert celebrates music, story, and collaboration.
Reception Details: Join us for a lively pre-concert reception beginning at 6:30 pm in the Founder's Lounge of the Clay Center. Enjoy complementary beer, wine, and champagne, as well as heavy hors d'oeuvres provided by 1010 Bridge.
