For Jamilex Tham-Morrobel, '26, donor support did more than ease financial stress – it helped open the door to a career dedicated to helping others regain their independence and quality of life.

Now she's beginning a residency in neurological physical therapy where she'll continue her education. “It’s about going back to doing things that we all love doing or just gaining independence,” she said.

The College of Medicine is reaching new heights, both figuratively and literally! 💙

Last week, the new College of Medicine building reached its highest structural point, a milestone known as topping out. Community members gathered, signed the last beam, and watched in awe as it was placed on top.

When it opens in late 2027, MUSC will have a new space designed to educate the physicians South Carolina needs for generations to come.

MUSC is proud to welcome Terri L. Warholak, Ph.D., R.Ph., FAPhA, as the next dean of the MUSC College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Warholak joins MUSC from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, where she serves as dean and professor of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She brings extensive experience in pharmacy education, research, medication safety and academic leadership.

As she looks ahead to her new role, Dr. Warholak said she is excited about the opportunity to "connect pharmacy education and research with clinical practice in ways that improve care and expand what pharmacists can do for patients."

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Warholak to the MUSC family!
