For America’s 250th birthday, we had a little fun and printed a Statue of Liberty in UC maroon on our Creality Halot Mage Pro resin printer. 🇺🇸 It turned out great! Resin printers are very good at fine details, which you can see with the rays of the statue’s crown.

Unlike FDM printers that melt and deposit plastic filament onto a print bed in a given shape, resin printers cure very thin layers of liquid resin using UV light. The light is directed to the exact place needed to make the shape of whatever model you’re printing. Talk about innovation!

We had a fantastic time touring Touchstone Research Laboratory, Ltd. with founder and CEO Brian Joseph.
