AUDITIONS for the fall '26 and spring '27 CSU shows are coming up soon!

Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00 p.m. each evening in the Black Box Theatre (LM 104).

Shows are: OUR TOWN (play), A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING (musical) - both in the fall and LITTLE WOMEN (the musical) in the spring.

Prepare to read from sides provided and/or to sing a one-minute song selection that demonstrates your vocal range and acting ability!

If reading for OUR TOWN, sides will be provided.

If singing for the musical/s, bring sheet music, with your cut clearly marked, in a notebook, in the proper key.

🎓✨ Congratulations to the Charleston Southern University Horton School of Music Class of 2026 Music Education graduates! ✨🎓

Today we’re celebrating eight outstanding graduates as they begin the next chapter of their journeys. We are incredibly proud to share that every one of our Music Education graduates has either accepted a teaching position or is continuing their education in graduate school!

From elementary classrooms to middle and high school music programs, and graduate study in arts administration, these graduates are ready to make a lasting impact through music, education, and leadership. Two unforgettable weeks. 🎶☀️

Over the past two weeks, we were thrilled to welcome nearly 600 campers to Charleston Southern University for our Summer Music Camps! From the first rehearsal to the final standing ovation, these talented young musicians filled our campus with energy, growth, and incredible music.

We’re so proud of the outstanding final performances that brought each week to a close and showcased the hard work, dedication, and passion of every camper.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing counselors for investing your time, encouragement, and leadership; to our outstanding faculty for coordinating, teaching, and making these camps such a meaningful experience; and to our guest clinicians for sharing your expertise and inspiring the next generation of musicians.

Thank you to all of our campers and families for making this summer one to remember. We can’t wait to do it again next year! 🎵💙
