The Citadel First Responders Club, The Citadel Fine Arts, and the NYPD 10-13 Club of Charleston invite the campus community & friends to join us for a memorial wreath ceremony as we mark 25 years since September 11, 2001.
Memorial Wreath Ceremony: Marking 25 Years Since September 11, 2001

Class of 1969 Auditorium, Capers Hall
The brief ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 10, marking 25 years since September 11, 2001, and will honor and remember those who lost their lives and those who responded in the aftermath of the attacks.
The Summerall Chapel Color Guard will present the colors. The ceremony will include words of remembrance, a reading of names, a moment of silence, music by The Citadel Regimental Band & Pipes, and the laying of a wreath at The Citadel’s World Trade Center Memorial in the Capers Hall atrium by the NYPD 10-13 Club of Charleston.
As part of the ceremony, we will read aloud the names of loved ones and friends of members of our campus community who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. If you would like to include a name, please submit it using the link below. If the name is difficult to pronounce, please include a pronunciation guide so we can honor each individual with the care and respect they deserve.
Please submit names by COB Tuesday, September 8.
Immediately after the memorial ceremony, refreshments will be available in Capers Hall, courtesy of Leonardo DRS and Pinnacle Bank.
