Huge thank you to the team at Ames Construction for stopping by to speak with our members!

They walked us through the basics of heavy civil estimating, shared insights into their major infrastructure projects, and broke down what day-to-day operations look like across their jobsites.

Grateful for industry partners who take the time to invest in the next generation of builders! 🤝

Out of class, on site! 🚧

The UNC Charlotte Construction Club had our first site tour of the semester Wednesday at a large-scale beverage manufacturing facility. Seeing the massive coordination and complexity behind industrial manufacturing construction was eye-opening.

Our goal is to keep bringing our members face-to-face with the wide variety of projects and career paths this industry has to offer. Looking forward to many more tours to come this year! 🏗️🤝
