We encourage alumni to stay connected & use this page to network professionally & socially with your fellow alums. Mercy School of Nursing has been a treasured Charlotte institute since 1906. For more than 100 years, excellence in nursing education has been our top priority, a tradition that continues today. Our mission is to prepare our graduates to practice as registered nurses in various health

care settings. Our students have diverse backgrounds and are supported by a caring, responsible and experienced faculty. Mercy School of Nursing provides an environment that promotes self-direction, develops critical thinking skills and instills the value of a life-long learning process. Please consider supporting our Phi Theta Kappa chapter at Carolinas College, which is offering a Valentine’s Day raffle for this incredible basket! The money raised allows PTK to continue supporting the homeless population in Charlotte by participating in Roof Above, which works to end homelessness. Funds raised also support Carolinas College graduates through scholarships. The deadline is February 10, and the winning raffle ticket will be drawn on February 11. Many of our Carolinas College alumni working the frontlines have started to receive their second doses of the COVID vaccine. Here’s a message from Carolinas College alumna Dr. Heena Nagarji (ADN ’11), who works in nursing administration at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center: “Doing this for all my fellow frontline healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly day in, day out. Doing this for my family, friends, and our community. Thank you to the scientists who are making this happen for all of us…I feel a sense of relief and happy to be part of the solution. Believe in the power of science!!! Please get your vaccines when it’s your turn.”
