NinerAlert: Alleged Armed Robbery
Today, Saturday, Sept. 12, at approximately 1:10 p.m. the UNC Charlotte Police Department received a call from a student that she had been robbed in Lot 25, near the light rail station.
The suspect brandished a fi***rm and demanded her car and cellphone.
The student was not physically injured.
The suspect then fled the campus on Cameron Blvd toward University City Blvd.
The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hoodie. The stolen vehicle is a 2019 blue Kia Optima.
