Today, Sorors across our communities are coming together to do ONE thing, on ONE day, with ONE purpose — SERVE!💜💛

From city to city, neighborhood to neighborhood, our Lionesses are rolling up their sleeves, picking up trash, beautifying our surroundings, and showing what happens when women come together with a shared vision.

This is more than a clean-up.
This is SISTERHOOD IN ACTION.

🧡 TODAY, WE WEAR ORANGE! 🧡

Today, Gamma Eta Nu Sorority Inc. proudly wears ORANGE in recognition of Leukemia Awareness Month! 🧡

We wear orange to raise awareness, honor those fighting, remember those we’ve lost, and stand beside survivors and their families.

🧡 DID YOU KNOW?

🔸 Leukemia is a type of cancer that affects the blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and lymphatic system.

🔸 Leukemia causes the body to produce abnormal blood cells, which can interfere with the production of healthy red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

🔸 There are several major types of leukemia, including ALL, AML, CLL, and CML.

🔸 Leukemia can affect both children and adults. Some forms are more common in children, while others occur primarily in adults.

🔸 Symptoms can include fatigue, frequent infections, fever, unexplained weight loss, easy bruising or bleeding, and swollen lymph nodes.These symptoms can also occur with many other conditions, so medical evaluation is important.

🔸 Research, early detection, treatment, and continued support matter. Advances in cancer treatment have helped many people live longer and healthier lives.

🧡 Today, we stand together in awareness and support.
