Since the age of six years old, Holly Furr-Vazquez has been dealing with the effects of physical injuries sustained by a drunk driver followed by mental injuries sustained by bullies. Now at 30 years of age Holly speaks candidly to audiences about the challenges, and successes culled from a life-time of pain. Holly graduated from Salem Academy with multiple scholarships after predictions that she
would never be able to experience achievements like graduation. She went on to earn an Associate of Arts Degree at Central Piedmont Community College, and an Undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Holly enjoys a joy-filled life now in Charlotte, NC with her wonderful husband Eddie, and precious dogs Luna and Commander. Holly enjoys a career as a professional public speaker addressing issues related to the effects of addiction, drinking and driving, and bullying. After years of struggle from the injuries she sustained at age 6, and the mental anguish that followed, Holly is grateful for a life of hope, passion and purpose.
