UPDATE:
Earlier tonight, City of Charlotte officials announced a city-wide curfew from midnight – 6:00 a.m. every evening until the State of Emergency is over or the curfew order is revoked. Though the UNC Charlotte campus has not been affected by any unsafe demonstration activities, city officials have determined a curfew is necessary for the city to maintain order.

Students, faculty, and staff are strongly encouraged to remain indoors during the designated hours. Outside of the curfew hours, the University will continue to operate on its normal schedule.

We have created an FAQ page to anticipate questions about what this means for students, faculty, and staff on campus. We will continue to update this document with more information as we learn more. You can find the FAQ on our website http://bcp.uncc.edu/charlotte-curfew-faqs
