We are officially ranked No. 64 among public institutions nationwide and increased more than any other school in the Southeast. This milestone solidifies W.S. Lee College of Engineering as the second-highest ranked public engineering college in North Carolina! 📊

This recognition comes during a huge period of expansion for us, including the creation of our new School of Energy and the Albert School of Construction, both designed to connect our students directly with regional employers and hands-on workforce experience. ⚙️

Through the Carolinas Grid Engine, we will drive economic competitiveness, accelerate innovation and build the workforce needed for our evolving energy demands.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has selected the NSF Grid Modernization Engine in the Carolinas, led by UNC Charlotte, as one of the nation's newest NSF Regional Innovation Engines.
