Position: Guard #3
Hometown: Rocky Mount, NC
Q: Are you excited about this season? What are your expectations?
A: I am very excited about this season. My expectations is to help be apart of something great. I believe and know that this team can make it to the Conference Tournament this year.
Q: What players did you look up to growing up?
A: I looked up to my Dad, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, J'kyra Brown (teammate), and Candace Parker.
Q: Why basketball, what makes it enjoyable for you?
A: Basketball was my safe haven it was the sport that never let me down and got me through a lot of tough times growing up. The atmosphere and the smell of the gym was something that couldn't be replaced. Taking a shot and seeing it go in was confirmation to myself that I was doing something right.
Q: On average much time do you put in daily to be a successful player?
A: I spend between 3-5 hours daily in a gym to be a successful basketball player.
Q: Tell us something interesting about yourself
A: I am Native American, my tribe is Haliwa Saponi and I participate in tribal dances at my annual powwow almost every other year.
