M.S. and M.C.S. degrees and the Ph.D. in computer science. The CS department also jointly administers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering. The high-caliber, research-intensive graduate program emphasizes Ph.D. education in computer science. The department is active in many of the most important and interesting areas of research and education in computer science, and also at the intersection of computer science and other disciplines, such as health-care and energy.
