Professors Charlotte Matthews and Seth Horton will lead a discussion-based conversation exploring the literary themes, style, and significance of George Saunders' Lincoln in the Bardo. 📚

Jannine Jacoby will begin her capstone this fall and hopes to graduate with her bachelor's degree from University of Virginia this coming spring. Anxiety, which she had battled most of her life, prevented her from completing her degree after starting in 1995. While Jacoby felt fulfilled with her family, life and career, she never lost sight of her bachelor's dream. When she finally compared bachelor completion programs, UVA was the right fit. “The choice was easy: UVA is a better school than the others, it’s cheaper, and they could accommodate an online schedule,” she explained. While the journey as a mom, professional and student hasn't always been easy, Jacoby found her own determination, the UVA community and the highly supportive SCPS faculty are keys to her success.
