Is your student looking for a summer job on Grounds? Passionate about helping others and building leadership skills? Encourage them to apply to be an Orientation Leader!

Orientation Leaders (OL) have a lasting impact on incoming students and the UVA community as a whole. OLs welcome new students to Grounds, build connections, and develop leadership skills that will serve them for life. This position is an excellent way to get your student connected on Grounds and with other UVA students.

To be eligible to apply, your student must be a rising 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, have a 2.0 GPA this
semester (Fall 2025) and have no violations of University Standard of Conduct.

Applications are open now and will close on January 26th—don’t let them miss this incredible opportunity!
