Hey everyone! In case you missed the e-mail that was sent around to the PVCC student body, here it is!

"Hello PVCC Women!

This email is for the female population of PVCC (Sorry guys!)

This is the Elect-Her planning committee letting you all know about our February 1st leadership event for women. It's a collaborative effort between AAUW* and Running Start that encourages women to run for office, not only political but also here on your own campus. We will take you through the campaign process and explain what it takes and what you need to get there! The official sign up will be January 7th, but we are taking early-bird sign-ups now. Even if you don’t want to run for office, this is a great opportunity to learn new leadership skills.

To register, send your name, address, phone number and email address to [email protected] or contact one of the committee members listed below.

Date: February 1st
Time: 11am to 4pm. (lunch is provided)
Location: UVA Newcomb Hall Ballroom (Tentative)
