LingXi Chinese Theatre

LingXi Chinese Theatre LingXi Chinese Theatre is the first non-profit student-run Chinese theatre group at the University of Virginia. LingXi Chinese Theatre was founded in Fall 2015.

It is the first and only non-profit Chinese theatre group at University of Virginia. Our missions are to produce professional Chinese theatre and promote cultural diversity, to nurture and serve as a resource for student talents, and to introduce the inner working of theatre art to all that are interested. We aim to communicate with the Chinese-speaking community, and to develop a position for Chi

nese theatre among the young intellectuals in the U.S. We are a proud member of Associations of Chinese Theatre (ACT), an alliance of the top student-run Chinese theatre groups across universities in the US. Non-affiliation statement: Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or missions
