University of Virginia; Engineering International Programs SEAS offers study abroad programs year-round, worldwide. SEAS offers study abroad programs led by SEAS faculty in Germany, Guatemala, Sweden, and Costa Rica.

The Office of Engineering International Programs at the University of Virginia (UVA) offers engineering students opportunities to study abroad & develop professional skills in a multicultural setting. While summer or January term are the most popular times to study abroad, semester-length programs remain a viable option. SEAS also offers opportunities to engage in engineering service learning proj

ects in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama and South Africa. Students interested in research may consider a research exchange program such as the one at the Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo.
