Do you keep losing files that you need for your projects? Does it take you hours flipping through photos that all start with IMG_whatever? Are half of the files in your Google Drive all called ""Final Paper,"" ""FinalFinalPaper,"" ""FinalPaper2"" or ""Document?"" This workshop will help you get organized and develop a system to keep track of your stuff. Imagine the time you'll have when you don't have to waste it looking for things!

If you have a laptop, bring it along.

Hey Mocs! Want to bring a touch of whimsy to Weeks of Welcome? Come to the UTC Library's Trinket Trade and Sticker Swap where you can exchange tiny treasures and enjoy some snacks while you explore the new second floor of the Library!

🗓️ When? Thursday 9/3 from 3 - 6 pm
📍 Where? Library 2nd Floor

What is a trinket trade? It's a chance for you to exchange your gadgets and gizmos like figurines, keychains, bracelets, stickers, and other treasures untold with other trinket lovers. Don't have a trinket you'd like to trade? Come to any of the Spectacular Craftacular workshops (Miniature Masterpieces on 8/26, Bag Charms and Bracelets on 8/31, and Zine Scene on 9/2) to create a neat knick-knack.

What does zine mean? Zines (pronounced ZEEN) are self-published DIY magazines, and anyone can make one about absolutely anything! Come and make a zine about your favorite things, what you're looking forward to this semester, or anything else.

We'll provide the supplies, just bring your creativity! Meet us in Library Room 205 from 4-5:30 pm.

Make a zine or two, then come back on Thursday for the Trinket Trade and Sticker Swap to exchange zines with a new friend.

Bag charms and friendship bracelets are great for showing your personality, and they're even more unique when you make them yourself!

We'll be in Library Room 205 from 4-5:30 on Monday 8/31-- join us to make totally custom bracelets and charms for your backpack or totebag with beads, Shrinky D***s, and more! And come back on Thursday, September 3 for the Trinket Trade and Sticker Swap!! 🎨

You don't need to be an artist to decorate a mini-canvas! 🎨 Let your creativity flow while you craft art of something you love, an affirmation or goal for the semester, or just a fun doodle!

Come craft with us THIS WEDNESDAY (8/27) from 4-5:30 in Library Room 205. We'll have mini canvases that you can draw on or decorate with stickers, charms, and more!!
