Through Delta Sigma Theta’s commitment to public service and social action, we can help break the silence surrounding domestic violence, challenge harmful misconceptions, and connect survivors with resources and support.

Delta Sigma Theta is committed to working within our communties to mitigate mental health crises and provide the tools and resources neccessary for the unique support that many are in need of. We thank our National Physical and Mental Health Subcommittee for leading the charge toward a world that prioritizes the mental well-being of all people.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated encourages you to make breast health a priority.

We stand with our sisters and all those navigating a diagnosis, celebrate our survivors, and honor the lives and memories of those who have transitioned. Their experiences remind us why education, advocacy, and access to quality care remain essential to our work, especially in addressing the health disparities affecting Black women.

As one sisterhood, we come together to raise awareness, encourage action, and surround those affected by breast cancer with care and support. This October and beyond, let’s continue showing up for ourselves and one another.

This October, with purpose!

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated encourages you to make breast health a priority.

Know your family history and share it with your healthcare provider. Stay current on routine screenings, including mammograms, based on your age and individual risk. Pay attention to changes in your breasts and speak with your provider about any concerns. These conversations and screenings can help detect breast cancer earlier, when it is easier to treat.

We stand with our sisters and all those navigating a diagnosis, celebrate our survivors, and honor the lives and memories of those who have transitioned. Their experiences remind us why education, advocacy, and access to quality care remain essential to our work, especially in addressing the health disparities affecting Black women.

Be sure to schedule your screening if you’re due, encourage someone you love to do the same, and support efforts that bring care within reach.

As one sisterhood, we come together to raise awareness, encourage action, and surround those affected by breast cancer with care and support. This October and beyond, let’s continue showing up for ourselves and one another.

Yesterday was simply beautiful! ❤️🤍

The Chattanooga Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, in partnership with Desti Foundation, welcomed an amazing group of young ladies and their families to our Jabberwock 2027 Interest Tea.

From the beautiful attire and elegant atmosphere to the excitement and energy throughout the room, it was the perfect beginning to what promises to be a memorable journey.

As we prepare for Jabberwock 2027: Becoming Her Own, we look forward to creating meaningful experiences that encourage confidence, connection, growth, and grace while celebrating each young lady as she continues becoming the woman she is destined to be.

Yesterday was only the beginning. ✨
