Our very own Dr. Amy Doolittle was highlighted by UTC News for her work during professional development leave 🍎📓

Her focus on social work in ministry sparked a project that will help dementia patients find connectivity in a world that tends to feel isolated. "And we’re also providing services to the caretaker because if you’re a caretaker of someone with dementia, you need a lot of support.” 👨‍🦰👱‍♀️👴👩‍🦳🧔‍♂️

As she continues this project and others, she speaks to the benefits that sabbatical gave her in order to help make a difference in her community.🤝

B-HIP was at the TENNESSEE ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS (TASSW) conference today!

Dr. Bethany Womack, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Social Work, and Dr. Amanda Hardin, PsyD, NCSP, Assistant Professor, School Psychology, presented on the B-HIP Traineeship Program.

They did a great job! The audience gave us great ideas for developing resources that will help those entering the behavioral health workforce deal with real-world challenges.

THANK YOU to those who attended and gave us great feedback. Additionally, we gathered some amazing resources from the booth vendors! Thanks to Omni Family of Services, Embrace U, and Erlanger for being onsite and supporting the social work community. University of Tennessee, Knoxville great to see you there representing the UT System!!
