Today begins National Nurses Week 2026. The week is just a part of the larger National Nurses Month.

National Nurses Month is celebrated throughout May to recognize the essential role nurses play in healthcare, with a specific focus on honoring their dedication, compassion, and expertise. While the entire month is recognized, National Nurses Week is held annually from May 6th (National Nurses Day) to May 12th (Florence Nightingale’s birthday).

Let us celebrate and thank all our colleagues for their endless dedication to this amazing profession.

We were busy this past weekend! Did you catch us out in the community? We spent time at:

📍The DREAM Expo at Lincoln University

Dr. Baskin and Dr. Kokoszka along with junior nursing students Chaise McKissick and Ruqayyah Colburn went to Lincoln University to volunteer at the DREAM Expo, which was geared towards introducing middle school students to the healthcare professions.
