Who says anatomy can't be fun?

Dr. Hazell had our Health Profession Career Explorers asking thoughtful questions, testing their knowledge, and cheering each other on during an interactive anatomy lesson and spin-the-wheel trivia challenge. Every correct answer earned a prize, but the biggest reward was discovering just how incredible the human body is.

A special thank you to Dr. Hazell for leading such an engaging session and to Dr. Lori Felker for helping keep the trivia challenge spinning and the excitement going! Together, they created a fun, interactive experience that had our campers learning, laughing, and building confidence every step of the way. 💙

Day 2 - Another Day of Exploring Healthcare Careers!

Today, our Health Profession Career Explorers got an inside look at the world of ultrasound and sonography, even getting hands-on experience with the equipment! They also stepped into the field of Speech-Language Pathology, working through interactive activities and small-group sessions that brought learning to life.

A huge shoutout to our incredible graduate students for sharing their expertise and personal journeys, and to our dedicated faculty and instructors for creating engaging, hands-on experiences that help spark curiosity and inspire future healthcare professionals. 💙

Watching students ask thoughtful questions, jump into activities, and make connections between what they're learning and their future goals has been incredibly rewarding. Their curiosity and engagement have made these sessions come alive—and we're just getting started!

Meet some of our Health Career Explorers!🩺✨

It's been wonderful to see such a great mix of students this summer—from returning participants who joined us last year, to siblings attending together, to high school students whose older brothers and sisters are currently studying in Widener's health professions programs and encouraged them to explore healthcare careers through our summer program.

We can't wait to introduce you to more of our students and share what they've been learning, exploring, and experiencing throughout the week.
