We asked our sisters what sisterhood means to them… here’s what they had to say 🤍

Riley L- Sisterhood to me is all about being apart of something bigger. College can be challenging but it is so much easier when you have people in your corner. The sisterly connections that I’ve made through Tri Sigma are amazing. My sisters make tough days better and great moments unforgettable. Whether I’m looking up to an older sister for guidance, booking a study room with my friends, or just asking to borrow clothes- I know no matter what, I’ll have someone to turn to. Real sisterhood and genuine connection are things every girl needs in their life and I am so grateful that I have so many amazing sisters that I know will be apart of my life forever!

Madison L- Sisterhood is knowing there is always someone who has your back. Tri Sigma has given me sisters who support me and encourage me to be myself. Being part of Tri Sigma has helped me build friendships that I know will last beyond college. My sisters inspire me to grow, try new things, and become a better version of myself. Sisterhood means celebrating each other’s accomplishments and being there when someone needs support. Most importantly, it means knowing that I am never alone and always have a group of sisters who care about me.

Erin- Sisterhood means the absolute world to me. Coming to Widener and joining Tri Sigma has redefined this word to me in ways that I never thought it could. Sisterhood is the friends who make me feel accepted and supported. The girls that make sigma feel like home and the most impossible place to leave. This sisterhood has taught me what it means to be a good friend and how it feels to know that there is always someone in your corner cheering you on. Sisterhood has given me friendships that will last far beyond graduation and girls that I know I will call my bridesmaids some day
