This morning, the Brothers of Rho Iota Lambda Chapter — the “Chesterfield Alphas” — had the opportunity to support Bro. Re'shaud Johnson, Principal of Falling Creek Elementary School, by welcoming students as they arrived for their First Day of School! 🎒📚

Our Brothers greeted the young scholars with smiles, high-fives, fist bumps, and words of encouragement to help start their school year on a positive note.

Falling Creek Elementary is one of the Chesterfield community schools our chapter proudly supports, and it was great seeing Brothers show up to support Bro. Johnson, the students, families, faculty, and staff.

Thank you to the Brothers who came out this morning and represented Rho Iota Lambda! 🤙🏾

Yesterday, the Distinguished Brothers of the Rho Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. came together with family and friends for our Brotherhood Social!

It was an afternoon filled with great food, good music, swimming, co****le, spades, plenty of laughs, and most importantly — BROTHERHOOD!

A special thank you to Bro. Anthony Mason for opening his home and providing us with a great space to fellowship. We also appreciate every Brother who brought food and refreshments, fired up the grill, fried fish, helped with setup and cleanup, or contributed in any way to making the afternoon a success.

As we begin the 2026–27 fraternal year, this gathering represented exactly where we want to start:

RECONNECT. With our Brothers.
RECLAIM. The spirit of Brotherhood.
REIGNITE. Our passion for Alpha and service.

Sometimes Brotherhood is simply sitting around a table, sharing a plate, talking trash over a game of spades, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. 😂♠️

Yesterday, we RECONNECTED. 🤙🏾

Now let's carry that energy into the fraternal year ahead!

Sunday, August 16th, the leadership of the Rho Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. came together for our 2026–2027 Chapter Leadership Retreat.

It was an opportunity for our newly elected officers to come together, exchange ideas, discuss the direction of our chapter, and begin laying the foundation for the fraternal year ahead.

As we move forward, our theme for 2026–2027 is simple:

RECONNECT.
Reconnect with our Brothers. Reconnect with our purpose. Reconnect with the spirit of Brotherhood that brought us together.

RECLAIM.
Reclaim Brothers who have become disconnected. Reclaim our presence in the community. Reclaim our responsibility to uphold the mission and aims of Alpha.

REIGNITE.
Reignite our passion for service. Reignite our commitment to one another. Reignite the energy necessary to move Rho Iota Lambda forward.

Three words. One direction.

RECONNECT. RECLAIM. REIGNITE.

The work has begun. The Brotherhood is moving forward. 🤙🏾

those “Chesterfield Alphas” participated in the Back To School/Community Block party with Ephesus SDA Church.

It was very successful event as we helped pass out 200 backpacks stuffed with donated school supplies and engaged with the community!
Looking forward to partnering up again next year 🤙🏽
