History of the A.C.H.A.:
After several attempts at creation of a national horseman’s association on the collegiate level, in the spring of 2003 the American Collegiate Horseman’s Association was founded in College Station Texas. Nine founding schools elected officers, wrote a constitution, and set a date for the first national convention and meeting, in an attempt to bring college horsemen from across the nation closer together. The National Convention is held every winter and features guest speakers and demonstrations.
