WILD PARROT DIET RESEARCH: This semester is round 2 for our collaborative research project where my university students continue to analyze published papers on wild parrot diets and contribute to a growing database that helps us better understand the diversity of foodstuffs consumed. Learning more about wild parrot diets helps us provide more biologically appropriate foods and foraging opportunities so we can continue to improve their welfare.

This is the official page for the Ronald & Charleen Crean Memorial Animal Nutrition Lab. Dr. Tatiana Tatum and Dr. Jason Crean co-direct the research projects that take place in this laboratory. This lab has a focus on avian nutrition though other potential research foci are also being considered.
