Meet the Faces Behind BSU 🖤 | Swipe to see more ➡️👉🏾

It’s time to put some faces to the names! We’re excited to introduce the 2026–2027 BSU Board and the students who will be helping bring this year’s vision to life.

BSU is more than meetings, titles, and events. It’s about creating a space where people can connect, build friendships, celebrate Black culture, share ALL voices, and simply make others feel like they belong. Every person on this board plays a role in helping make that possible.

We’re bringing different personalities, ideas, talents, and perspectives together with one shared goal: to make this year one that our community can truly be proud of.

From planning events and creating new opportunities to building connections across campus, our board is ready to show up, put in the work, and make things happen. And trust us, we have A LOT in store đź‘€

But don’t forget — BSU isn’t just the board. The board helps lead the way, but the community is what makes BSU what it is. Whether you’re already a member, thinking about joining, or just want to come to an event and see what we’re about, there’s always a place for you here.

So take a look, get familiar with your board, and come along for the year with us.

New year. New memories. New connections. Same community.

Welcome to BSU — we’re just getting started. 🖤

Welcome! | Meet your Black Student Union Boardđź–¤

BSU is more than just a group on campus. It’s a community, a space for connection, a place to build relationships, and a family that continues to grow. We’re here to celebrate Black culture, create meaningful experiences, uplift one another, and recognize the excellence that exists within our community.

This year, we’re focused on creating a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and encouraged to show up as themselves. Whether you’re looking to get involved, meet new people, learn more about Black culture and history, build connections, or simply find a community on campus, there is a place for you here.

You don’t have to be a BSU member to support BSU. Everyone is welcome to attend our events, participate in our conversations, connect with our members, and experience what we’re building together. And if you decide you want to take that next step and join us, we’d love to have you.

We’re proud of where we come from, proud of who we are, and excited for the community we’re creating. This is Black excellence. This is connection. This is family. This is BSU.

Come grow with us. Come celebrate with us. Come be a part of something bigger than yourself🤎

TGIF! We made it to Friday and it’s a 4 day weekend! Take this time to relax, catch up on some sleep, spend time with people you love, and just enjoy the break. College can get busy, so don’t forget to give yourself a little time to breathe. Rest is productive too.

And please, don’t spend all 4 days saying “I’m about to do my homework” and then Sunday night comes and you’re fighting for your life.

Enjoy your long weekend!

Sincerely,
Your BSU team!
