Great Lakes Center for Occupational Health and Safety We are an Occupational Health and Safety Education and Research Center, funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.

We recently changed our name to the Great Lakes Center for Occupational Health and Safety (GLC-OHS). The Division of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences (EOHS) is one of four academic units in the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago. enter, funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health. The GLC-OHS is house within the Division of EOHS. The Illinois ERC trains graduate level students in industrial hygiene, occupational safety, occupational medicine, occupational and environmental epidemiology, and agricultural safety and health. We also provide continuing education to health and safety professionals and community members. Look for our Interdisciplinary Seminar sessions here on Facebook or by enrolling into the GLC Listserv by emailing Jordan Hepler at [email protected]. Seminars are often eligible for continuing education units (CEUs) and are free to attend or participate online!
