This semester, the VanderCook drumline had the pleasure of performing at the Physicians Council for Responsible Medicine "Let's Beat Breast Cancer" awareness rally at Tinley Park's beautiful Harmony Square.

We were honored to share the stage with the Tinley Park HS drumline under the direction of head director and VCM alum, Matt Hendricks. Thank you to Janet Pearson and the PCRM for inviting VCM back for a third year to be a part of this community rally for a great cause!

Course Description:
This course provides educators with a practical, systematic approach to score study for wind band. Students will learn to analyze the structural, harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic elements of a score to help develop a clear aural concept and an effective rehearsal strategy before stepping onto the podium. Emphasis is placed on translating score analysis into informed instructional decisions, enabling students to prioritize rehearsal objectives and address both technical and musical challenges with clarity and efficiency.
