The Office of International Programs (OIP) was established in 1996 at Northeastern Illinois University as a reflection of the University's commitment to improving global understanding. Its goal is to strengthen and expand international educational opportunities for students and faculty. International activities at Northeastern are widely available and easy to access, and the OIP offers a wide rang

Students also have opportunities to spend a semester or a year studying abroad in a variety of countries and universities. NEIU also has a brosd range of partner institutions which provide special opportunities for our students to study in another country. The OIP offers a wide range of opportunities and services for NEIU students and faculty to provide substantive international learning and research experiences as a part of their academic experience.
