Incoming Loyola School of Social Work graduate students: your Community Immersion Program is just a week away it's your first step into the communities you'll serve.

Here are 3 things you should know about CIP before you arrive:

1. What is CIP? It's a four-day event for incoming graduate students that introduces you to your new graduate program. Students learn about social work’s evolution and its relationship with Jesuit ideals, take part in local community projects, and increase self-awareness in their professional role.

2. Come with an open mind. There will be a lot of information to take in during the first day of CIP - the best outcomes come from students who are willing to listen, learn, and reflect.

3. Connection is everything. You'll build relationships with classmates, faculty, alumni, and community partners while exploring the values that shape social work practice.

You can read about more FAQs at the link below. We can't wait to welcome you to the Loyola SSW community!
