The sisters of Tau Gamma Omega Chapter extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to our President, Charlotte Guyton, and the entire Guyton family on the passing of her beloved husband, Leon Guyton.

Leon was affectionately regarded as an honorary "AKA Honey-Do" whose unwavering support, generosity, and kindness touched the hearts of many. Though not a member of our sisterhood, he was a cherished supporter of the chapter and a steadfast advocate of our mission and our President.

Leon was also deeply loved by his community, where his warmth, compassion, and positive spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

As we mourn this tremendous loss, we keep Charlotte, their children, the Guyton family, and all who loved Leon in our thoughts and prayers. May the love of family, friends, and cherished memories bring comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Join us Saturday, June 27, from 11 AM to 3 PM at Austin Town Hall for vendors, interactive workshops, community resources, and activities for all ages, including line dancing, raffles, and a teen summit. We look forward to seeing you there!

Saturday, we hosted our Minding Our Business mental health event at the Maze Branch, Oak Park Public Library. This event was centered on making space and showing up for you! 💚

From pouring into your own cup to reflecting through letters to self, the focus was on what it really means to take care of you—your peace, your capacity, and your healing.

We created space for real conversations, intentional reflection, and the kind of accountability that starts within.

And at the end, we also took a moment to discuss grief and acknowledge our sister 🩷
