What does it look like when the industry's biggest questions meet the people who'll shape its future? 💙

Our students spent Oct 1 at The Expectation Gap conference, learning from leaders at Mars, Sara Lee, Sprout Social, and Bank of America about how artificial intelligence is changing what consumers expect from brands and how they are adapting their strategies to meet the moment. Students also networked with the presenters and with peers from local universities, building a valuable learning community for the day.

Thank you to the Association of National Advertisers Educational Foundation (AEF) and our Public Relations and Advertising (PRAD) program for partnering to bring industry leaders to our students and connect classroom learning to the real world.

On Tuesday, students and faculty members were invited to Inside the Labs, an event hosted by the Center for Communication Engagement, to explore the various learning and research options the lab has to offer.

From the Media Engagement Laboratory (ME Lab), the Virtual and Augmented Reality Communication (VARC) Lab, and Streaming Lab, to the student-run agency LoopedIn Co., attendees were able to directly connect with lab directors, find out new ways to get involved and get an inside look at the technology available.
