Chicago hasn't had a Division I football program in 86 years until now. As Chicago's only Division I football program, Chicago State is bringing the city back to the gridiron, and the whole city is watching.

Inaugural Kickoff is Saturday, August 29 vs. Roosevelt University at SeatGeek Stadium. You don't to miss this.

Chicago State University is pleased to announce that Advocate Health Care is now the OFFICIAL Healthcare Partner of our Athletics Division, focusing on top-tier sports medicine for our student-athletes and real pathways into sports health careers for our students.

This partnership will support our 17 sports programs through athletic training, team physician coverage, physical therapy, orthopedic care, primary care, sports psychology, sports nutrition and game-day sideline support — plus the Advocate logo on every CSU jersey this season.

Announced live at CSU's Back-to-School Parade, with Advocate Health Care President Dia Nichols serving as Grand Marshal — this partnership is proof of what happens when two mission-driven South Side institutions team up.

Today, CSU President Z Scott and Provost Sonja Feist-Price were on the ground at our residence halls on campus and downtown, welcoming our newest and returning Cougars settle in for another successful year! Welcome home, Cougars.

CSU Cougars moved in with a big welcome from the CSU community!

This morning, CSU kicked off our partnership with Crowe LLP (Crowe)— and they showed up big, gifting 168 move-in kits to CSU students living at our downtown residence hall.

From day one, our students know they’re supported, seen, and set up for success by a community of students, faculty, staff, and corporate partners.
