Chicago, Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, and the Chicago Alumnae Chapter wants YOU at the polls!

Our sorors played a round of This or That: Voter Edition. Then the Chicago Board of Elections answered your top voting questions, from checking your registration to voting by mail. 📲

Key dates:
✅ Oct 18: Last day to register online (you can still register in person after that!)
✅ Oct 19: Early voting opens at all 50 ward sites
✅ Oct 29, 5 PM: Deadline to apply for a vote-by-mail ballot
✅ Nov 3: Election Day. Polls are open 6 AM to 7 PM

What if every girl could see just how far her future could take her?

The Chicago Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., through our International Awareness and Involvement Committee, invites girls ages 7–18 to join us for International Day of the Girl: Passport to Her Future.

This experience is designed to help girls explore what’s possible when they have the confidence to use their voices, the knowledge to build financial power, and an understanding of the rights that belong to them.

Throughout the day, girls will be encouraged to dream bigger, think globally, and see themselves as future leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, advocates, and changemakers.

Their destination is theirs to choose. We’re helping them prepare for the journey.

💜 As we close out National Hazing Prevention Week, Thee Chicago Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, reaffirms our commitment to Violets Over Violence because hazing is a form of violence, and protecting our sisters means rejecting all forms of it. Care. Courage. Accountability, these are not just words for one week, it is the foundation of who we are as Deltas, 365 days a year. 🔺🐘❤

Join us in the pledge: protect the bond, choose care over cruelty, courage over silence, and accountability over image.

Prevention Tip: Make it personal, commit to one action this year by mentoring a new member, attending an anti-hazing training, or starting the conversation in your own network, and hold yourself accountable to it.
