UIC Professors Attend AHIMA National Conference

University of Illinois Chicago Professors Gideon Ramirez and Barbara Glondys attended the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) national conference in San Antonio, Texas, October 3–6, 2026.

Junior and senior campus students attended HIM Program Orientation in preparation for classes beginning next week. The morning session provided an opportunity to review program expectations, upcoming coursework, resources, and important information for the academic year. Following the orientation, students joined HIM faculty for lunch in the common area, providing time to connect with faculty and classmates before the start of the semester.
