Congrats to Senior Honors Advisor and Program Specialist, Cristian Baeza, for being awarded Outstanding Advisor at the UIC Fall Advising Summit & Awards 🏆!

Cristian shared, “What a full-circle moment! Having two of my undergraduate advisors and my graduate school advisor there to witness me receive the Outstanding Advisor of the Year Award was such an incredible honor and memory I will have forever. Each of them has helped shape the advisor I am today, and having them there to celebrate this moment made it even more meaningful.

To my students, thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for allowing me to support you, and for giving me the privilege of being part of your academic, professional, and personal journeys. You inspire me to continue growing as an advisor, educator, and student, and I’m incredibly grateful to each and every one of you."

Thank you to the HC advising team and OAD for celebrating!
