Welcome to the Honors College!
As your Dean, I am excited to welcome you to our community and support you throughout your academic journey. UIC is an extraordinary university, enriched by the diversity, talent, and ambition of its students and top-notch faculty. The Honors College is more than a program. It is a community of curious, motivated students who are eager to learn, grow, and make a difference.
I hope you will find in the Honors College a place where you feel challenged, supported, and inspired. Take advantage of opportunities to explore new ideas, engage with different perspectives, build meaningful connections, and step outside your comfort zone. Some of the most transformative experiences come from taking intellectual risks and discovering interests you never expected to pursue.
My goal is for every Honors student to develop the curiosity, confidence, and sense of purpose needed to make a positive impact in the world, both during your time at UIC and long after graduation.
