Northwestern University, Department of Dermatology Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine's Department of Dermatology is committed to education, research, advocacy, and care of skin diseases.

The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Department of Dermatology conducts intensive research focusing on basic laboratory investigation of skin inflammation, skin cancer, keratinocyte biology, wound healing, epithelial stem cell research, cutaneous aging, and translational projects to develop new therapies. Since 2009, the Skin Disease Research Center has promoted outstanding bench and clinical research in cutaneous biology, by providing high-quality technical services, enhancing education and communication among our members, and facilitating translational research.
