The Honors Program offers a specific architecture of interdisciplinary courses intended to challenge students who have demonstrated academic achievement and who are motivated to pursue a rigorous curriculum. The Honors curriculum promotes global awareness, preparing students to learn about and respect other cultures, while developing a sense of social responsibility in keeping with the university’
s Vincentian mission. Within the Honors Program, DePaul Honors Student Government (HSG) is a student-run organization developed to promote unity among Honors students, to plan activities for the enrichment of Honors students and the DePaul community at large, to represent Honors students in the DePaul Student Government Association and the Honors Program Committee, to provide Honors students with leadership opportunities, and to enhance student participation in the DePaul University Honors Program.
