The History Graduate Student Association (HGSA) seeks to cultivate academic excellence and community among the history graduate student body at Loyola University Chicago. The History Graduate Student Association (HGSA) is a formal and active organization that develops and sponsors workshops, conferences, informal gatherings and the limited funding of student activities. The HGSA is responsible for assisting in the development of graduate orientation for first-year students, department-wide social events and workshops on navigating graduate studies in history.
