University of Chicago Masters Program in Computer Science The MS in Computer Science offers students a deep foundation of applied computer science skills and k

The University of Chicago Masters Program in Computer Science degree emphasizes applied skills education in order to prepare students for a technically-advanced career in computer science fields such as software engineering. MS Comp Sci candidates are required to take a minimum of 9 courses (5 core + 4 electives) in order to complete the program. The five core courses include:
• Theory
• Programmi

• Networking
• Databases

Four Electives courses (including but not limited to):
• Advanced Programming
• Mobile Technologies
• High-Performance Computing
• Plus many more including classes from other areas of the University

Full-time students can complete the program in 9 months and part-time students can complete the program in as little as 15 months.
