After 10 years in the workforce, Usman Mahammad knew experience alone wasn’t enough to reach the next level.

Through Roosevelt University’s Master of Business Analytics and the RISE internship program, he’s turning real-world experience into leadership—applying classroom concepts to live client projects in real time.

“If you’re learning in classes, you need a platform to implement it. That’s what I like about RISE.”

From global experience at Accenture to hands-on work with startups in Schaumburg, Usman is building the skills—and confidence—to lead larger, more complex projects.

📈 Read Usman’s story:

Usman participates in Roosevelt's Rise scholarship, which connects students with startups, small businesses and community partners.
