La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated was founded on February 19, 1982 at Cornell University to meet the needs of the Latino community. La Unidad Latina came to the Midwest on May 27, 2000 when 6 men founded the Alpha Zeta Chapter at Depaul University and the University of Chicago. In the spring of 2001, the chapter expanded to Loyola University Chicago and Columbia Coll

ege. La Unidad Latina's Alpha Zeta Chapter expanded once again in the Fall of 2010 to form the University of Illinois at Chicago Colony. is an active organization on campus and nation wide. Based on being premier, prestigious, and professional; we continue to change the face of all of the University of Illinois at Chicago campus and contribute greatly to all communities, we appreciate all the support and will only continue to be ELITE!
