We are excited to share a significant announcement that marks the end of an era and the beginning of a well-deserved retirement. Joe Kanabrocki, a legend in our community and a true champion for research safety, has officially announced his retirement.
For over 16 years, Joe has been an integral part of the University of Chicago, bringing unmatched dedication, expertise, and passion to his role. His impact on UChicago has been immeasurable, leaving an enduring mark on the field of research safety.

A few ORS team members participated in the AHA Heart Walk today with UChicago Medicine. We had an absolute blast! Dancing, Flu and Covid vaccines. non-alcoholic Heineken, photo ops, Buckingham Fountain, comfy bus ride, apples and bananas, and team relationship building! Next year, we hope more of our colleagues will join!
