A collaboration between Seattle's LMN Architects and local firm Booth Hansen, this building designed for our computer science, data science and engineering students boasts 15,000 sq. ft. of research labs and a LEED Gold certification for its environmentally-conscious design.

A $232 million investment in drug discovery and cancer research. A bold step toward equal health outcomes for all people.

UIC’s planned Drug Discovery & Cancer Research Pavilion has received approval to move forward, creating a new home for researchers working across cancer research, drug discovery, chemistry and translational science.

The pavilion’s pursuit of more effective and equitable treatments is already being advanced by supporters including UIC alumnus Herb Paaren, BS ’71, MS ’73, PhD ’76, whose $2 million gift is helping support its construction.
